FAQs

Q. What’s special about Spring Training Camps?

Since 2005, our camps have been run by dedicated sports educators who have devoted their lives to childhood athletic and emotional development through team sport participation.

Our camps are highly organized and fast-paced where every player receives individual attention and support from the coaching staff, while learning important life lessons such as teamwork, leadership, respect, personal responsibility, and perseverance.

We believe that sports should be fun and create a sports environment that is relentlessly positive in order to give every participant the attention and support they need to challenge themselves to become better athletes, better teammates, and better citizens.

Q: How are campers grouped at camp?

Groups are made based on age. In instances where the coaching staff believes there might be a potential safety issue, we reserve the right to move a camper to an older or younger group as necessary, but the vast majority of campers will be in groups with kids approximately their same age.

Q: My camper has a food allergy; how do you handle that?

Each camper is responsible for packing their own lunch and/snacks. During lunch and snack players are free to sit wherever they want, but will we do everything in our power to keep players with allergies away from the foods they are allergic to. Any Epipens or other medications can be given to the Camp Site Director for use in case of emergency.

Q: What are the safety precautions taken at camp?

Playing team sports has an inherent risk of injury but our extremely experienced coaching staff takes every precaution to reduce the chance of injury as much as possible. This includes using softer balls and/or equipment when age appropriate, putting campers in age and skill appropriate groups, and our low coach-to-camper ratio to ensure attentive eyes on the campers at all times.

Bathrooms at all facilities are locked overnight and are checked by field maintenance staff and/or the coaching staff each morning.

Minor cuts, scrapes, and bruises are handled on site by the coaching staff. For any injuries or medical issues requiring more attention than bandaids and ice packs can handle, the Camp Site Director we will call parents using each camper’s registration’s emergency contact info.
